This morning my boss returned from a conference and saw my hair for the first time. We were talking over some stuff we're working on and he stops and says "did you get your hair done differently?". I said yes and he said he really liked it and it looked nice. I was just floored that he even noticed (men, you know). I am so lucky to have a boss who actually is nice and friendly and "real".

Getting things in order for my real move here. The plan is the moving van will be loaded June 28th and stuff should get here sometime the next week. I'm having to take a week off work to do it and my boss told me that was not only fine, but I could "work from home" some of the days since I don't have much vacation built up yet. Totally friggin' awesome guy. I found a tiny house to rent but it's fine for what we need, and after living in a rented room in a condo for a couple months I'm extremely excited to be getting my own personal space back. My roommate is awesome here but I'm ready to call somewhere home.
