Hey, Mal - I got some totally yummy heirloom tomatoes today at the market and they'd be so good with balsamic vinegar. Where in town can I get a really good bottle that will last me? :)
Hey, welcome to the wonderful world of food blogging! Your foods look great. Love that spumoni. And the party spreads . . . yum.
Lynsalyns: They carry balsamics at Persimmon and at Art Mart in Urbana. You should be able to get a good bottle at either place.
The Euromart on Springfield has really good selections of oils and vinegars as well (just under the underpass by First and Neil), as well as lots of other cool stuff. I've been going there lately for cheese instead of Art Mart just for some more variety.
Um, please add me to the guest list for your next party. Everything looks SO GOOD.
Wow, I'm behind here. Your spreads are amazing; I'd be proud to have fixed up any ONE of those appetizers!
The trout is intriguing; I've never cooked or even sat down to a whole fish.
