So Harold's Chicken on John Street (where Cafe Sarkis was previously) seems to be doing a brisk business since opening in the last week or so. My coworkers have brought in the tenders and breasts and they smelled fabulous. Every time I walk by the place, there is a line practically out the door. Surely says something for a little taste of Chicago.

Another restaurant opening I wasn't aware of. And I call myself a food blogger! I will have to check Harold's out. Thanks for the tip.

with you being in central illinois, i have to wonder if this is the harold's that we chicagoans know and love with the chicken king chasing a chicken with an axe. is it? it's funny that the one's here are all so different. kinda frustrating actually.

We've heard from the local Chicago transplants that it's indeed the same. I can't say I've verified it personally though.
